Grace Omaboe, better known by her stage name Maame Dokono, is a Ghanaian actress, singer, and television personality.
She has given advice to young women about how they should treat their boyfriends.
She warned them to be extremely careful around nice guys because, like an egg, it will be exceedingly challenging to obtain one back if the relationship ends badly.
The retired lawmaker counseled women to wait for the proper guys and not place too much emphasis on money and appearance while speaking on the “Delay program” a number of years ago. Keep calm and find a husband who will accept you for who you are.
You’ve finally met a guy who adores you. Someone who won’t try to con you with his wealth and good appearance. To comprehend one another, communicate with him. Don’t be arrogant. Time progresses.
Be modest and look for a decent man. Good guys are hard to come by, but when you do, treat him like an egg,” the venerable director said.
Maame Dokono stated that, she has regretted abandoning her first spouse, based on her prior marriages.
She believed that the next marriage would be easy for her, so she left the first one without realizing how difficult it would be.
“I have been married twice, but the last one was quite difficult for me. I frequently remark that if I had known how my second marriage would have gone, Maame Dokono told Delay, she would have remained with her first husband.
She frequently remarks about her previous spouse, “I constantly say that if I knew the complexities of marriage that I know now, I wouldn’t have left him.
I want to dedicate my life to helping underprivileged women and children after quitting these two marriages, she continued.
