Nhyiraba Kojo receives a 30 day sentence from Sekondi court

A Sekondi Commercial High Court convicted Nhyiraba Kojo, a singer and businessman to 30 days in jail for contempt.

Justice Sedina Agbemava imposed the term after Nhyiraba Kojo disobeyed a court order requiring him to construct soundproofing and stop noise pollution coming from his nightclub.

According to the source, three Fijai residents, Edmund Sampana Dienorng, Nicholas Imbeah, and Samuel Kofi Dzukey, filed the lawsuit when they became concerned about the noise coming from the musician’s nightclub, NK City Nightclub.
