Ghanaian Gospel musician Ohemaa Jacky and her boyfriend according to report are currently cooling off in a cell in Benin after they were arrested by authorities in that country.
The artist, who is facing fraud and forgery accusations in Ghana, rejected her bail conditions and fled to Benin to avoid his Ghana court case.
She and her partner manufactured a phony passport and other travel credentials, but the Benin authorities discovered the documents were fake at their airport.
According to Ogyam, a victim of Ohemaa Jacky’s travel fraud operation, the musician and her partner are facing a two-year prison sentence.
He also told another woman about his ordeal in Togo prison, when they were detained by Togo immigration police while attempting to fly to Europe via Togo Airport.
Ohemaa Jacky made the connection for them to fly from Togo to Europe, but they had no idea their passports were phony despite paying Ohemaa Jacky a large sum of money.
