The National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers has raised the cost of sachet water to 60 pesewas (NASPAWAP).
NASPAWAP announced in a press release that the price of sachet water will increase to 60 pesewas as of Monday, October 31, 2022.
They justified the price hike by citing the ongoing growth in production costs.

According to NASPAWAP, the Ghana Plastic Manufactures Association raised the price of plastic, forcing them to raise their pricing as well.
Additionally, they noted the rising cost of the gasoline utilized in their factories.
On Monday, October 31, 2022, the price of 500 ml of bottled water will increase to 2.50 cedis, 750 ml to 3.50 cedis, and 1.5 L to 5 cedis.
