Sarkodie reacts to landing a collaboration with Bob Marley and the Wailers


One of Ghana’s prolific musicians Sarkodie yesterday got netizens talking after he shared his upcoming project featuring late legendary Jamaican artiste Bob Marley and his Wailers band.

The rapper recorded his vocals on the popular hit song from the good old days titled ‘Stir it up’.

The announcement was first made by Bob Marley’s team who posted on their Twitter late Wednesday, January 18th 2023.

Their post reads: “New version of “Stir It Up” coming FRIDAY ft. Ghanaian 🇬🇭 artist @Sarkodie!”.

Sarkodie after the announcement took to his social media handle to state that this collaboration is the highest moments in his life and career as a musician.

“One of the highest moments in my career/Life… such a blessing to lay my vocals right next to the original vocals of the legend,” he said.

He later took to Twitter with another reaction: “Finally we get to share with the world !!! Definitely my biggest highlight in my music journey 🙏🏿 big honor.. Friday we enjoy this ! More stories to share ✌🏾”
