Marie Clara Rupio, who is the wife Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu has turned social media into a sad place after stating that time is running out for her husband.
Its been almost five days, since the unfortunate destruction in Turkey that has left over 1,400 people dead and other missing and yet-to-be found.
Unfortunately, Christian Atsu a former member of the Black Stars who ply his trade in Turkey happens to be one of the people who are yet to be rescued as at the time of this post.
Last Tuesday Ghanaians and the family of the footballer where of high hopes when it emerged on social media that the footballer has been rescued by the rescuers and has been transported to the hospital for immediate healthcare.
But this was short lived after new information came out hours later to state that he hasn’t been found and the statement earlier was a case of wrong identity.
Christian Atsu’s wife tragically disclosed that she last spoke to her husband two days prior to the tragedy, on Saturday, in an exclusive interview with BBC news.
The rescue squad, she said, “doesn’t have the necessary tools to rescue these people because Christian Atsu’s manager has confirmed to her that there are still some people alive under the Hatay Renaissance building where her husband is currently confined.”
Their children have been crying since since they read and watched the news on the TV, according to Marie, who seemed quite sad during the interview.
Even though there is no longer any chance, the strong wife seemed quite optimistic about her husband’s wellbeing and even survival.
