The body of Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu landed in Ghana on February 19, 2023, in the evening.

Several Ghanaians gathered at Kotaka International Airport to pay their respects to the deceased footballer.

Atsu’s dead body was received at the airport by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Once she landed in Ghana without his brother, the young woman could no longer control her emotions.

She was being comforted by a female acquaintance, who was also present.

It is undoubtedly tragic that she traveled all the way to Turkey from the UK to assist in the rescue of her brother just to find his lifeless body there.

Christian Atsu, a winger from Ghana, was impacted by the earthquake in Turkey.

Although though the event happened on February 6, Christian Atsu was discovered by the rescue crew on day 12—Saturday, February 18, 2023.

An earlier rumor that Christian Atsu had been discovered with a minor leg injury turned out to be untrue.

Afterwards, his body was discovered to be dead, and it was flown to Ghana.
