Update: Christian Atsu alleged to be in a coma

Following the release of CCTV evidence showing that Christian Atsu left the Renaissance building before it completely collapsed and escaped the first earthquake, the player’s team management has launched an active search for him.

Hatayspor officials told the media just two days ago that Christian Atsu was able to escape the first earthquake, which occurred at 4:17 am on February 6, 2023, since he had not slept at the time.

After the second earthquake, which occurred 20 minutes later, the Renessaiance building completely collapsed as he hurried to the parking garage to retrieve his car.

Christian Atsu is thought to have become unconscious as a result of being hit by the second earthquake while leaving the Rnessinace building.

Hatayaspor officials strongly believe Christian Atsu was rescued outside the Renssiance grounds, taken to the hospital, but has remained unconscious ever since, as suggested by officials who spoke to certain newsmen just a few hours ago.

The management explained that even the doctors and nurses caring for him are unaware that he is the person they are looking for because he is not well known in Turkey, which would explain why he hasn’t been found even if he is still alive as suggested.
