Ghanaian-born Christiana Awuni is an actress, producer of motion pictures, and humanitarian.

She founded the Christiana Awuni Foundation and serves as CEO of CA Production.

She has appeared in films including Adriverfo Aware3, Ghetto Hero, and Metim Nea Metim, Rockstar Hospital are some of the films that she produced.

On July 22, 1972, Christiana Awuni was born in Bantama, Kumasi, in the Ghanaian Ashanti Region.

She is a Frafra from the Upper East Region, specifically from Kologo in Navrongo. She was born and raised in Kumasi, moving to Kologo when she was ten years old.

Awuni went back to Kumasi after a few years and eventually moved to Accra. She is fifty-one years old and her parents’ second child.

Christiana Awuni had no one to encourage her music career, so her dream of becoming a singer was never realised.

One Mr. SY, who was already hosting concert parties, introduced her to the concept of concert parties. After doing concert parties for a while, she went on to star in Cantata.

Awuni began acting practice with Socrate Sarfo’s Movie Africa Productions after graduating from Cantata.

Christiana was introduced to Socrate by Kwaku Boakye, the CEO of Danfo BA Films, with whom he was then collaborating.

Awuni was starred by Mr. Kwaku Boakye in her debut film, “Metim Nea Metim.”

After she performed well in her debut role, he went on to cast her in around three more films. Awuni kept up her collaborations with producers such as Samuel Kwesi Nyamekye, Kofi Asamoah, and Jackson K. Bentum.

In addition to her professional career, Christiana produces films. Under her production company, CA Productions Ghana, she has produced a few films.
