Mohammed Ismail Sherif, a young rapper better known by his stage name Black Sherif, has recently had significant success in the music business.
Black Sherif, an up-and-coming artist, has broken streaming records and traveled far and wide.
But things haven’t always gone well for him. Before his breakthrough, he experienced his fair share of setbacks.
His initial attempts to establish himself as an artist failed, as he just disclosed in an interview on Hitz FM.

This includes his failure to go through the auditions for the MTN Hitmaker.
A video of Black Sherif, now known only as Blacko, participating in the MTN Hitmaker auditions has surfaced.
He participated in the reality series’ eighth season, which aired in 2019.
In the video, Black Sherif performs Okyeame Kwame’s Woara, which also features Raquel, while wearing a black and white blouse.

Kaywa, Eazzy, and Richie, the judges, were thrilled by Black Sherif’s performance. While Richie was telling Sherif that his confidence matched his talent, Eazzy invited the youngster to come and shake her hand.
