Malians hit the street to protest against Russia and Ukraine war

In the middle of the Russia-Ukraine war, a pro-Russia protest took place in Mali.

In the middle of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, Mali has seen a pro-Russian protest.

Wagner PMC is said to have paid the demonstrators to rally behind Russia.

Wagner PMC is a private Russian military force that is now stationed in Mali to assist the military junta in Mali.

T-shirts with the slogan “Je Suis Wagner” were worn by the protesters.

Since 2020, when the military conducted a coup to topple the democratically elected government, Mali has been ruled by the military.
