After 72 fruitless attempts by a neighbor he hired to impregnate his wife, a guy lost his patience. He allegedly shot 72 times, but no signs of pregnancy were found.
Demetrius Soupolos, 29, said that his former beauty queen and wife, Traute, was anxious for a child, but that he was infertile after a doctor deemed him infertile.
Soupolos paid his neighbor Frank Maus, 34, to impregnate his wife after evaluating his wife’s anxiety.

Maus was already married and the father of two children, and he looked a lot like Soupolos, so the scheme sounded promising.
He gave Maus $2,500, and for the next six months, Maus tried 72 times on three evenings a week to impregnate Traute, but the results were infertile.
“I don’t like it any more than you do; I’m only doing it for the money,” he remarked when his own wife complained. ‘Make an effort to comprehend.’
Soupolos was unimpressed when Traute was unable to conceive after six months and asked that Maus undergo a medical examination, which he did.

When the doctor stated that Maus was no longer productive, everyone was taken aback. Maus’ wife was forced to reveal that he was not their children’s biological father.
Soupolos is now suing Maus for breach of contract, hoping to get his money back. Maus, on the other hand, has refused to relinquish it since he indicated that he could not guarantee conception but would make a good faith effort.
