The ruling party the NPP yesterday held their National Executive Elections which saw some of current executives losing their positions to different people.
One of the people who lost his position was the current general secretary John Boadu.
After the elections, some delegates whose favourite didn’t win spoke to the media and made wild allegations.

One of such people claimed Afia Schwarzenegger must be blamed for John Boadu losing his position as the General Secretary.
Afia Schwarzenegger who is now a sympathiser of the NPP, she is always in touch with John Boadu and even has him on her speed dial and he always answers when she calls.
It bothered Delegates that Afia Schwarzenegger had easier access to him than they did at a time when he refused to answer calls from party members.

Afia claimed that she called him when her dispute with Wontumi first arose to inquire as to why he had not been present when Wontumi had offered her a job before Delay.
Fans of John Boadu believe this might be one of the factors why the delegates decided to vote for a different candidate in the person of Lawyer JFK.
