Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, a well-known entertainment analyst, has responded to the recent protest by the multi-award-winning Ghanaian artist Shatta Wale on the countless unfavorable online headlines about him.
The leader of the Shatta Movement claimed that Ghanaian bloggers appear to always stress his flaws while there are many nice things they may say about him during an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.
In response to this uproar, Arnold advised Shatta Wale on UTV’s United Showbiz not to hold Ghanaians and bloggers responsible for what he called the unfavorable rumors about him that had been spread online.
Shatta Wale in Arnold’s opinion, should be held accountable for this development due to the things he does.
Arnold emphasized that over time, 80 percent of the conflicts that Shatta Wale gets himself into are negative, and like many bloggers who are aware that bad stories sell, they will post such articles.
He continued by saying that Shatta Wale’s worries would have been well-founded had he insisted that the things Ghanaian bloggers claim or write about him are untrue; however, once they are not, there is little to say.
In his final statement, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo emphasized that Shatta Wale should realize how much his brand has benefited from criticism over the years.
